Typepad downtime. “Unusually high traffic caused issues with the server load balancer, causing the initial downtime. Unfortunately, the initial server reboot failed, causing the second extended downtime. By 9:40am PST, the source of the traffic disrupting the load balance was resolved, and we are continuing to monitor the situation.”
I wonder if it was at the Varnish layer or a hardware load balancer (like the BigIPs we used back in the old days…)
