I LOVE the idea of this community.

I LOVE the idea of this community. What do you think about non-IT related post-mortems? I’m thinking of things like particularly interesting reports from the FAA incident database (http://www.faa.gov/data_research/accident_incident/)

Planes are technology too

I say post what you want – we can always subdivide into topics.

I say yes, by all means, as long as they’re not constrained to specific domain failures. I’ve posted two recent postmortems, that I liked for not being directly IT related, yet showing important problems relevant to any field where technology and people interact.

If it’s not IT related , I say, we’ll keep the postmortem simple and what we all can understand and discuss about . As Jakub said , not too domain specific failures that will need scholarship in the domain so as to understand .

What about having non-IT and IT Categories in the Community. I’m not sure how they work but I’ve seen other communities with various categories. Might make it easier for people to filter out posts they don’t want to see.

I don’t care that much, it’s about the lessons learned for me…
